From the front line...

Embedded with the British 102nd Mobile Heavy Drinkers, braving snipers and taxis, I can report first hand that the Fijian Army commander is a C**t.
He has just declared himself President of Fiji on the grounds that he doesn't like the existing one and he has always wanted to meet the Queen. He then barked like a dog and asked if it was time for tea yet.
It is a very sad day for Fiji and democracy. Deeply flawed it may be, but an elected government is infinitely better than men with guns, especially when the men with guns are pointing them at you.
I would join the resistance but there doesn't seem to be any.
So, as a required by the oath we take as members of the WNDC, I am off to the pub for a pint or two.
